About the ethnographer

The ethnographer blog was created by two Anthropology MSc graduates who were keen to document and share their ideas and writing about various issues relating to environmental Anthropology and development issues. You will find here an eclectic mix of blog posts, essays, and book reviews - contributed by a wide variety of students and professionals - all broadly trying to explore ideas and issues relating to (political) ecology, conservation, political economy, and human-environment relations.

The principal aim of this blog is offer a space through which young professionals, academics and students can share and develop their ideas. In so doing, it is our hope that we can stimulate thought and discussion around some of the most pressing issues we all face today.

The nature of this blog is open access. We therefore welcome any prospective contributors who would like to publish something on the ethnographer. Please contact us using the contributions page at the top menu bar.
